Insurance – Terms & Excess Liability

All vehicles of the company include basic CDW insurance (Collision Damage Waiver), which covers damage caused by collision, fire and theft, provided that Greek Traffic Laws are respected.

With the basic CDW insurance, the renter is financially responsible up to the amount of €800 (excess) in the event of damage or collision to the vehicle.

The renter may reduce their financial liability by optionally selecting ONE (1) of the following reduced excess insurance packages, depending on the vehicle category:

Small & Medium Vehicles

For vehicles classified as small and medium cars, the renter may choose ONE (1) of the following options:

  • €350 excess, with a daily charge of €9, OR

SUV & Larger Vehicles

For SUV-type vehicles and larger categories, the renter may choose ONE (1) of the following options:

All of the above reduced excess insurance packages include third-party liability, fire and theft coverage, provided that the vehicle is used lawfully.

Insurance does not cover damage to the interior of the vehicle, windows, tyres, underbody, off-road use, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or damage caused by an unauthorised driver.

In the event of damage or an accident, the renter is required to immediately inform the company and follow the prescribed procedures.
